One of our Prestec employees Lesley, took on the challenge of Race for Life with her two daughters Rebecca and Emily.  They were inspired to complete the 5K race in order to raise money for a charity very close to their hearts.

On Saturday 30th June there were over 8000 participants taking part throughout the day, whilst battling with soaring temperatures.  The race was a “Pretty Muddy” themed event, with obstacles including giant inflatables, water jets and netting.

Lesley quoted “there was a great atmosphere throughout the race and everyone ensured that it was filled with humour”

Overall Lesley and her family raised £415.00 for Cancer Research, which will help affected families across the UK.
