Three recent residential projects in London each involved the installation of a Delta Cavity Drain Membrane System. The first project comprised a small external basement at a property in Holland Park that was being converted into a bespoke wine cellar. This project called for the installation of ground & foul water sump and pump units and Delta PT Cavity Drain Membrane, with a Gypsum Plaster finish, as specified by the client.

The second project comprised an extensive building refurbishment in West London requiring a complete drainage system. Prestec installed Delta wall and floor membranes, a drainage channel and sump & pump system with a high level alarm, along with timber battens enabling the client to apply a Gypsum plasterboard finish.

The third project saw Prestec installing a Delta cavity membrane on the walls and floor slab at a residential property in Stoke Newington, along with drainage channels and ground & foul water pumping units.

In each case, Prestec’s team of craftspeople completed the work to an exceptionally high standard within the specified time and to budget, ensuring the properties were fully waterproofed, ready for on-going refurbishment.

Other recent projects included sealing joints and cracks with polyurethane injection resin to prevent further water ingress following extensive excavation and underpinning at a double level basement in WC1, London; an on-going requirement to install waterproofing works to the concrete slab above Moorgate Tube station in London; and installing a corrosion prevention system for protecting two shipping wharves at Kingston in East Cowes on the Isle of Wight.
